Bungy Jumping

My friend Amy & I went bungy jumping in Chiang Mai!! Bungy Jumping in a 3rd World Country, now that's an experience everyone should have. My parent's asked me, "why in the world would you want to bungy in a 3rd world country??" I said, "it's cheaper." It was all good though, we jumped at the only insured bungy in Asia, or so the sign said. :-) We dove off of a platform 50 meters above a little pond. Our jumpmaster counted 3-2-1 bungy and then we were supposed to lean forward. Amy did all the leaning, I just held on for dear life. It was a pretty amazing experience, I don't think I've ever been so disoriented in my life! I had my eyes closed and was waiting for us to snap upwards, and I never felt it. I didn't even realize the ride was over when they pulled us down. Amy kept telling me to look up, so our jumpmaster could take my picture, but I couldn't figure out which way was up and which way was down. When I finally got done, my ears were ringing and my eyes felt like they were going to pop out of their sockets. Total craziness and a way, way amazing feeling. If you ever get the chance - DO IT!!
