Here's some pics from my week-long painting/picture hanging project. I finally convinced my mom that painting walls something other than white wasn't scary. I painted our island/breakfast bar and the area behind the stove a tannish color. And I painted our hallway an off-white/creamish color. Then, I went through tons of framed family pics from many, many years. I narrowed then down to ones I like best, and made a hallway collage. Next project will be the guest bathroom and bedroom...colors still TBD, but a shade of blue is in the front running. : )
