We visited the Oklahoma City Memorial, site of the OKC bombing in 1995. Pretty interesting memorial to walk around. At each end of the reflection pond, there's a giant black frame. One says "9:01" and the other "9:03" marking the before the bombing (peace) and after the bombing (a forever, changed world). The bomb went off at 9:02.
There's a chair for each victim of the bombing. The smaller chairs represent the children killed while in the building's day care.
Downtown Oklahoma City, aka "Bricktown"
A pretty famous little league ball park in Bricktown. Mickey Mantle was from OKC, and there's a monument of him in front of the stadium. They also have a neat canal system (see the boat?) that winds through the downtown.
Went to clydesdale horse farm today... the horses were all black, huge, and gorgeous!
The also had a zebra, who apparently likes to chew on coats - particularly mine.
