My dad decided Okinawa winters were too cold, so he got an all expense paid trip to the desert for Christmas this year...he deployed to Qatar just a week before I arrived in Okinawa. He'll be there until mid/end of February. I'm bummed that we missed seeing each other, but my dad did get to see my bro! Rich is stationed in Mildenhall, England. My dad's plane stopped in England for 4 hours to pick up more troops so they got to visit with each other in the terminal. Here's a pic from their visit...
