Tree Lighting

Last night some friends and I went to Pioneer Square in downtown Portland, for the annual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony. Tons of people crammed into the square for Christmas carols, and the lighting. I'm thinking it's the only time of year when Oregonians are happy about a tree being cut down, but don't worry - all of the lights on the tree are eco-friendly.

It was fun seeing the Christmas decorations! Makes me excited for Christmas!! Only 2 weeks left of classes this semester. I can't believe it's almost over, it seems like the year just started!

I'm flying to ND on Dec. 12th. I'll spend the break at "home" with my folks. I'm not sure how I feel about going to a ND winter after spending the last 4 in Okinawa...we'll see how that goes. :-)
