This past weekend, a friend of mine from Portland came to visit.
^We took a walk to our lake, skipped rocks for awhile.
^On our drive to Minneapolis we found the cutest water tower in small town USA.
^We went to the Minneapolis Sculpture Gardens near the Walker Art Museum. I'd seen pictures of the place, but had never been. We were blessed with a gorgeous fall day...lots of sun shine and crunchy leaves to walk on! The spoon and cherry is one of the more well known sculptures in the garden.
^This was my favorite sculpture - it's a really tall (like palm tree tall) glass tile carp. It's in a glass room, so when the sun shines through it reflects off the tiles beautifully. Below the carp was a koi pond, and for all you Office watchers, nobody fell in. :)

^This really old, beautiful church, was across the street from the gardens.
^Also across the street... was a pretty city park, with trees and a duck pond.
^Our Mall of America "Stop"
^We walked through the Underwater Adventure at the MOA. It was pretty neat and worth walking through at least once.
