Trier

I spent the day in Trier yesterday with a CSM friend. Trier is one of the oldest cities in Germany and was once part of the Roman Empire.

Port Nigra, the Black Gate is part of the original Roman Empire wall.

Dom St. Peter, originally built by Emperor Constantine the first Christian emperor. After major damage in earlier centuries, it was renovated in 1035.
