On June 12th I started out on my second road trip of the summer; destination: Denver, CO. - but more on that later... On my way down, I stopped near Sioux Falls, SD to spend time with Chad, Laura and Tanner - our good family friends from Okinawa!!! They left Oki exactly 1 year ago. It was Tanner's 2nd Birthday! It was so much fun to catch up with them. Laura's dad has a little 2 seater plane that he took me up in. I had forgotten how flat the Dakotas are. Seemed like I could see forever from up in the sky. It was a blast spending time with Chad and Laura and getting to see and play with Tanner!!! Chad runs a lamb/sheep business with his folks. It was cool seeing their operation. It was a very informative trip too, it has now been confirmed for me that goats are NOT male sheep. :-)
