Split, Croatia

We got to Split a few days before the missionary care retreat began. Our friends Lou and Cathy are getting ready to leave Germany and move to Japan to run the hospitality house there. We are super sad to see them go. Lou and Cathy have become family to Heather and I and we'll miss them tons. We were really excited to spend a few extra days with them before they move. (Check out the Key Club updates for info on our retreat).

The streets of Split were awesome. Lots of small alleyways, with cute shutters, clothes hung out to dry and all sorts of twists and turns.
^This is the apartment that we rented - the location was awesome! We had a great view of the bell tower, which made for a convenient alarm each morning when the bells went off. We were also right in the middle of the alley system.

^There were many markets throughout the old town... everything from fresh fruits and vegetables, to fish and flowers.
