Christmas Markets, round 2

This past weekend was our CSM women's retreat. We found a great rental house/lodge just outside of Rothenburg. I've visited Rothenburg twice before, and each time I've loved the little town. It's the most quaint German town I've been to, thus far. Since the first time I went there, I've wanted to go back at Christmas time. I couldn't wait to see it all decorated for Christmas... and I finally got my chance.

^ The epitome of Christmas stores, Kathe Wolfahrt, a German favorite
^ A view along the old city wall.

On our way home from Rothenburg, we stopped in Mannheim to drop a friend off at the train station, and some of the ladies wanted a Christmas drink from Starbucks. The holiday special is lebkuchen latte (gingerbread) and they are pretty good.
